All data files have the 'CSV' extension, designating them as Comma Separated Value text files. Although their default application is Microsoft Excel, they are also viewable in Notepad, Quattro Pro, and other spreadsheet/graphing applications.
About the Nutrient Data
These text files contain 5 columns of information. The first column contains the date and time (CST) of sample collection; the second column contains the symbol "<" when the sample concentration falls below the detection limit (DL); the third column contains the nutrient concentration (mg/L); the fourth column contains the symbol "*" when the sample was analyzed after the holding time; the fifth column specifies the sample collection method only when a suction lift peristaltic pump was used, these samples are indicated with "ISCO", the remainder of the results were collected as a 'single vertical' sample using the appropriate depth integrated sampler.
Note: To view all of the Date/Time information in Excel, increase the width of the first column to 15.
