- Modeling a New Well Field for Champaign-Urbana
- The Illinois American Water Company (IAWC) is developing a new regional well field west of Champaign-Urbana to meet growing demands of local communities. IAWC contracted with Wittman Hydro Planning Associates, Inc. to "evaluate the sustainable yield of the Mahomet Aquifer and consider the long-term impacts of a new wellfield located several miles west of the municipality (Champaign)."
