A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday
Inn Chicago City Centre for July 18 and 19, 2000. A limited number
of rooms has also been reserved for the nights of July 17 and 20 for those wishing to arrive early or stay for an additional night after
the Conference concludes. Please specify "Water Supply Conference" when making reservations. Room rates for Conference attendees are
$104.44 for a single and $124.44 for a double. All rooms are subject to an additional Chicago hotel tax of 14.9%. Reservations should
be made directly with the hotel (phone: 312/787-6100) and must be received by June 19, 2000 to guarantee this rate. Reservations received
after this date will be based on available space and may be subject to prevailing hotel rates. Reservations must be canceled at least
24 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid being billed for first night lodging.
The Holiday Inn is located at 300 East Ohio Street, just east of Michigan Avenue's Magnificent Mile. The hotel offers a full-service restaurant,
a bakery/cafe, and a sports bar. Water Tower Place and Navy Pier are both short walks from the hotel. The McClurg Court Sports Center adjoins
the hotel and is available to hotels guests on a complimentary basis. Facilities at the Sports Center include an indoor swimming pool, weight
room and cardiovascular center, steam, sauna, and whirlpool. Racquetball, tennis, and professional massage service are also
available for nominal fee. The hotel also provides on-premise parking and airport shuttle service. The McClurg Court cinema movie theaters
are also adjacent to the hotel.
