A block of rooms has been reserved at the Renaissance Springfield Hotel at 701 East Adams Street for November 6 and 7, 2001. A limited number of rooms has also been reserved for the "club level" which offers many extra amenities for a modest additional fee. Please specify "Energy Conference" when making reservations. Room rates for Conference attendees are $60.00 for a single and $75.00 for a double. Single and double room rates for the "club level" are $79.00. All rooms are subject to a current hotel tax of 10%. Reservations should be made directly with the hotel (phone: 217/544-8800) and must be received by October 16, 2001 to guarantee these rates. Reservations received after this date will be based on available space and may be subject to prevailing hotel rates. Reservations must be secured by a deposit or guaranteed with a credit card and canceled by 4:00 PM on the day of arrival to avoid being billed for the first night's lodging.

The Renaissance Springfield Hotel provides guest self-parking at $5.00 for 24 hours and $6.00 for valet parking. The hotel offers a full-service restaurant, lounge, and room-service. Many of Springfield's most popular tourist destinations are short walks from the hotel. An indoor swimming pool, sauna, and whirlpool are available to all guests.
