IWTP Staff write the specifications for the annual state chemical bid (Boiler Compound Bid Award) that is organized by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services. On an annual basis, bids for water treatment chemicals, testing reagents and supplies, and laboratory equipment are sought by the State of Illinois. Any state agency that is a member of the Joint Purchasing Program can buy off the bid.
